Formazione ed esperienza

  • Requisito minimo: laurea triennale in Ingegneria, Informatica, Matematica, Fisica, Statistica o equivalenti
  • Max 2 anni di esperienza in ruoli analoghi

Requisiti e conoscenze richieste

  • Linguaggi di programmazione con focus su Microsoft o tecnologie .NET (VB.Net; C#);
  • Linguaggi front end (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript) e framework front-end / back-end (MVC, Entity Framework);
  • Conoscenza dei Database relazionali (SQLServer)
  • Uso dei principali modelli di progettazione e conoscenza della metodologia Agile;

Le attività principali saranno Analisi dati e Machine Learning; i task includeranno la progettazione, l’implementazione e il testing di algoritmi per l’analisi dati e la classificazione di eventi.

Octo Telematics researches an intern to be included in Partnership Development team. His/Her role is focused on the collaborative relation between departments (Marketing/product/IT) to exchange requirements about the projects in place, manage the overall analysis, development and planning phases. His/Her role is focused also in go to market analysis and strategy evaluation about projects to be evaluated.

He/She needs to provide a support able to take into account any issue related to partneship/marketplace (direct and indirect business model) projects, giving the necessary support to the current team for the day by day activities: manage meetings, prepare presentation, etc.

Excellent knowledge of English language and analytical skills are mandatory. A second language knowledge (i.e French) is preferred.

Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and good understanding of knowledge Management tools is considered a plus.

Job Description

As an intern, you will be involved in some aspects of our end-to-end process. You will help the team to develop a plan to solve the client’s problems.

Interns work closely with Project Leaders and Partners, and have primary responsibility for understanding the client’s strategic issues and delivering good analyses and documents to senior members of the team. They benefit from wide-ranging opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and experience a variety of strategic business consulting engagements.

Our intern role offers these key opportunities for development and advancement, frequently not available at other consulting firms:

  • Structuring and performing analysis, and conducting primary research, to uncover the insights that support our recommendations to clients
  • Translating data into meaningful insights and recommendations

Qualifications

Education: Management or Engineering Master Degree

Experience: 0.5-2 years

Languages: Italian native speaker and fluent in English, other European languages are considered a plus.

Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required; VBA, database and statistical data analysis software are well appreciated. Video and photo editing is considered a plus.

Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.

Willingness to travel across Europe is required.
