American Express, global leader in payment services, is looking for a young university or master student in Economics, Management Engineering, Informatics, and/or Statistics for an internship in our Travel & Lifestyle Services Team.

For our headquarter in Rome, we are looking for an intern who will support our Travel & Lifestyle Services Team, that delivers travel and Lifestyle services to the Company’s Premium Customers.

Within the Innovation, Quality and Training Division of Travel & Lifestyle Services, the intern will provide support in the daily management of customer requests through the following activities:

  • Support in back-office activities in the Travel area, with daily analysis and reporting;
  • Support in quality control on sales and bookings;
  • Support for the organization of training events with the main partners;
  • Support the team in collaborating with the Marketing team in the realization of official communications.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow the deadlines;
  • Good knowledge of the Office package, in particular an advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and a basic knowledge of Access;
  • Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken);

 

Finally, curiosity, ability to work in team, attention to details and results orientation are necessary.

Una settimana di seminari sull’argomento Stable Matching: basic theory and extensions. Relatori Yuri Faenza e Xuan Zhang, coordinati dal prof. Giampaolo Oriolo

Ecco qualche info sugli incontri. Di seguito il programma.

 

Il corso coprirà alcuni argomenti al confine tra l’Ottimizzazione Discreta e la Teoria dei Giochi.
  • Yuri Faenza ha organizzato il corso in modo tale che le prime lezioni siano fruibili anche a chi non è esperto dell’area. Per questo motivo Xuan Zhang, sua dottoranda, integrerà le lezioni con esercitazioni.
  • Yuri Faenza è stato studente e poi Phd a Ingegneria “Tor Vergata” e dopo alcune esperienze in post-doc in istituti prestigiosi ora ha una tenure track a Columbia Univerity: un percorso d’esempio e stimolo per molti ragazzi più giovani.

Il candidato verrà inserito nel team di Fund/Asset management dedicato ai fondi che investono in operazioni di sviluppo immobiliare.

  • Attraverso lo stage il candidato approfondirà le conoscenze relative al funzionamento del settore immobiliare e alla gestione dei fondi immobiliari dedicati ad iniziative di sviluppo.
  • Svolgerà attività di supporto ai processi di gestione dei fondi immobiliari, con particolare riferimento all’implementazione di modelli economico-finanziari e all’analisi degli investimenti e dei disinvestimenti immobiliari.
  • Il candidato acquisirà competenze in merito alla redazione di Business Plans, all’analisi di operazioni di gestione ordinaria (lease analysis, valorizzazioni, ecc…), nonché di eventuali operazioni di gestione straordinaria (investimenti immobiliari, disinvestimenti, ristrutturazioni, ecc.).
  • Si occuperà di predisporre presentazioni relative a progetti di investimento/disinvestimento immobiliare, reportistica per i Comitati interni ed il CDA.
  • Parallelamente effettuerà attività di monitoraggio delle attività di cantiere e reportistica interna, supportando il team di Fund management nelle attività di commercializzazione/assegnazione delle unità in costruzione.

Si richiede laurea di primo livello in Ingegneria Gestionale, buona conoscenza della lingua inglese, ottima conoscenza di Windows e del pacchetto Office, in particolare Excel.
Sono inoltre richieste capacità analitiche, attitudine al problem solving, propensione al lavoro in team e ottime capacità comunicative e relazionali.

The position is Responsible for the support to the Third Party relationship Team in order to maximize the efficiency of the whole team with a specific focus on Vendor Performance Monitoring, Efficiency and Closure of Screening alerts, Optimization and accuracy of information in Amex Database

You will support the team in the execution of the following tasks:

  • Vendor Performance Monitoring KPI and Framework
  • support the team for data analysis and presentation preparation for internal and external meeting
  • support to manage the operative procedure of alert management
  • support to run analysis about the production environment to improve data accuracy

After the stage the resource will be able to know the Third Party Life cycle management of the Vendors, he/she will acquire knowledge about infrastructure and processes related to a financial institution operating as issuer and acquirer, he/she will acquire presentation skills/ analytics skills supporting in internal/external presentation and providing reports / analytics.

You are the perfect candidate if:

  • You are fluent in Italian and in English;

  • You are a strongly motivated person, with good interpersonal skills and team work attitude;
  • Any previous experience in the field would be considered as a plus.

Tirocinio curriculare in DATA MANAGEMENT

Il tirocinio, rivolto in particolare a frequentanti corsi di laurea in informatica, statistica, ingegneria, matematica ed economia (con indirizzo quantitativo), ha l’obiettivo di far acquisire allo stagista conoscenze in merito all’utilizzo delle fonti dati statistiche e amministrative e competenze nell’ambito del data management e dell’analisi dei dati.  Il tirocinio permetterà di collaborare all’analisi delle principali dinamiche socio-economiche del sistema produttivo e sui principali settori dell’economia regionale, sulla innovazione digitale nelle PMI, sulla internazionalizzazione e sullo sviluppo delle tecnologie con particolare riferimento alla valorizzazione dei beni culturali. Inoltre permetterà l’eventuale collaborazione con enti di ricerca e altre istituzioni in attività di studio e ricerca in particolare sulla valutazione di politiche pubbliche regionali.
